My 'CV'
- Full-time drum teacher for over five years
- Taught one-to-one privately in pupils' homes
- Teaching experience in schools including teaching one-to-one, pairs, small groups at Bourne Community College; Brune Park Community College; Central Junior School. Duties included preparing pupils to give solo drum-kit performances for school concerts and GSCE Music Performance. I also led an after school ensemble at Brune Park, teaching pupils from 11-16 to learn to play popular songs (Beatles, Green Day etc) as a group (taught drums, rhythm guitar, vocals, keyboards, percussion) . The group often performed at school concerts
- Composed and published exam-piece: Break that Beat, London College of Music Drum-kit grade syllabus. Also, have written numerous pieces for drums in a wide range of styles, some of which are included on the Jimmy drumming - audio page.
- Session work used by Universal Music Publishing for VW Passat advert
and other various TV programs and by Channel 4 for Freesports on 4

- Grade 8 Drum-kit (Guildhall)
- Performances (including depping) at venues, clubs and festivals and recordings in numerous bands of various styles, including: Dynamo 5, Ticklin' the Pickle (soul/funk); Lachlan Horne (blues); Aubrey Lemmon, Beau Monde, Britonica, Nine Dogs Deep, Pyramid of Johnny, Silver (indie pop/rock); Agent Orange, Black Mountain College (now Lucinda Rosa), Peel (Alternative)
- Theatre work including West Sussex County Youth Theatre - various show styles (jazz, blues, latin, rock)
- Recordings for various sessions at Airtight Studios (recorded and mixed by Sam Bell) - mostly indie pop/rock and contemporary soul styles
- Member of Musicians Union and CRB checked
- Always strive very hard to get the best from every pupil
